The Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale is an annual favorite, recognized for the quality and variety of curated midcentury treasures featured each year. For Modernism Week 2018, the popular show will be introducing a new platform to showcase the best in contemporary design: the Palm Springs Modern Design Expo.

Next month, the Modern Design Expo will showcase cutting edge home design products and technology from over 40 exhibitors, presenting inspiring ideas for modern living. Highlights include dynamic and energy efficient building concepts, innovative home appliances, smart home technology and security, hand-crafted furniture and design accessories, contemporary art and photography, and much more.

Guests will be able to purchase one ticket to attend both the Modernism Show & Sale and Modern Design Expo – think Disneyland Park Hopper pass, but in Modernism Week style!

Featured Exhibitors

Featured exhibitors will include: Pijuan Design Workshop, showcasing midcentury modern-themed dog houses/end tables; Amara Rugs, featuring 21st century and midcentury modern-style carpets; Jill Keller Peters, featuring contemporary art; Guggenhome of Dallas, Texas, featuring a curated series of contemporary designs, furniture and art that redefines the modern experience; The Mod Ranch, offering midcentury modern-inspired mailboxes; Mod Fire, offering midcentury modern-style outdoor fireplaces; and Avenue des Arts of Hong Kong, featuring art by the world-renown artist Dimitri Lorin.

What You Can’t Miss

Monogram is the Presenting Sponsor of the Modern Design Expo, and will feature a large, interactive booth that will showcase the latest advances in home appliance technology. Michaela Abrams, former CEO of Dwell Magazine with a new design thinking practice called MOCA+, will present a keynote talk in the show’s theater. In addition, Monogram will feature cooking demonstrations by a Monogram celebrity chef all weekend.
