Brooke Hodge takes the helm of the Palm Springs Museum Architecture & Design Center and waxes poetic on midcentury modern design during Fall Preview.
Canadian-born, former Angeleno, and recently recovering New Yorker Brooke Hodge is a recognized expert in the fields of architecture and design. Prior to moving to the midcentury modern architectural capital of the world, Hodge served as curator and administrator on the Los Angeles art scene at the Hammer Museum and Museum of Contemporary Art for more than a decade before heading to New York to take the Deputy Directorship of Manhattan’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, a branch of the Smithsonian Institution. She was also an ongoing contributor to the New York Times.
Recently, Hodge sat down with Palm Springs Life to talk about what brought her to the city and her favorite midcentury modern buildings.
