Palm Springs Walk of Stars

Between 1955 and 1965, the Alexander family built over 2200 homes in the Coachella Valley that have become recognized for their midcentury modern aesthetic. Design icon Pierre Cardin built the first and only Maxim’s de Paris Suite Hotel (now the Hyatt) in 1986, and is the subject of the documentary “House of Cardin” debuting in the 2020 Architecture Design Art Film Festival. Together, the Alexanders and Cardin have left an indelible mark in Palm Springs, and we are proud to honor their legacies with two star dedication ceremonies on the Walk of Stars on February 14 and 20 (respectively). Learn more about the Alexander family and Pierre Cardin.
