Discover why this desert retreat is quickly becoming a cult favorite.
For those who follow design in the desert, you may have seen glimpses of Casa Joshua Tree around the internet – a bright, airy creative sanctuary renovated by artist and designer Lindsay Hollinger. This simple, light-filled home located just minutes from Joshua Tree National Park features a bohemian modern aesthetic that is both rejuvenating and relaxing.
While there are hundreds of beautiful homes in the desert, Casa Joshua Tree caught our eye because of the mark left by one of our #PSModSquad alumni, Justina Blakeney. She joined us for Modernism Week for the first time in 2014, a full year before she authored The New Bohemians – a colorful collection of some of today’s most inspiring dwellings. Blakeney also designed a series of stellar wallpapers for Hygge & West, and we can’t get enough of the way her Cosmic Desert print was used to make a big impact in Casa Joshua Tree’s small space.
Check out the gallery to see Justina’s wallpaper in action, and for more of our favorite design details from this stylish home.
