Ferguson Returns as Modernism Week’s Largest Corporate Sponsor in 2025

Modernism Week announced that Ferguson will be the Exclusive Kitchen & Bath Sponsor for the eleventh consecutive year and the largest 2025 corporate sponsor of the annual Modernism Week festival that celebrates midcentury modern design, architecture, art, and culture. With more than 500 events, including tours, films, lectures, parties and exhibitions, Modernism Week’s 20th annual festival will take place in and around Palm Springs, California February 13 through 23, 2025.

Ferguson is a long-time and highly valued Modernism Week sponsor. We are honored that this innovative company has returned for an eleventh year of providing luxury products for homes on Modernism Week tours, presenting exciting events throughout the week, and being a major featured partner at CAMP, our festival headquarters.

Modernism Week Board Chairman, William Kopelk

As in previous years, Ferguson’s sponsorship will be represented in a variety of Modernism Week venues and events as detailed below.

Opening Night Party Presenting Sponsor

One of the major highlights of the 11-day event is the Modernism Week 20th Anniversary Opening Night Extravaganza, an over-the-top entertainment event celebrating Modernism Week’s two decades in rollicking style. This annual Opening Night Party, presented by Ferguson and to be held on Thursday, February 13, will be the party that everyone will talk about all week. Attendees will join Modernism Week for an evening of unparalleled glamour and spectacle. The iconic Palm Springs Air Museum will be transformed into a playground of vintage tropical nightclub glamour, setting the stage for an opening night soirée that promises to be Modernism Week’s most spectacular event in two decades. Generous support provided by Ferguson and gorgeous lighting for the event will be provided by Kichler.

Participation in Home Tours

Ferguson and its partners have once again worked closely with leading designers to provide a curated selection of new and innovative products for the kitchen and bath in two Featured Homes that will be available for tours during the festival. These include the Modernism Week Featured Homes Sackley Chase Sensation and The West House.

Modernism Week Featured Home: Sackley Chase Sensation

This stunning 70s residence was designed by the prolific Palm Springs architect Stan Sackley in 1976 and beautifully decorated by the iconic interior designer Steve Chase. This remarkable home, recently updated by Grace Home Furnishings, features striking Brutalist features including pristine Italian natural travertine floors and expansive walls of glass that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and the Indian Canyons golf course. It will also be the exclusive location for the Saturday Night Soirée on February 15 where the home will transform into a festive haven of high-style sophistication. Guests will enjoy vibrant cocktails and indulge in gourmet hors d’oeuvres by Trio, set against the backdrop of Steve Chase’s iconic design elements and glittering accents that capture the essence of 70s opulence. Modernism Week sponsors Ferguson, Monogram, Brizo, Kichler, James Martin Vanities, and Baldwin (as well as other Modernism Week sponsors) generously contributed to this project.

Modernism Week Featured Home: The West House

This dynamic residence was recently remodeled by Michelle Boudreau Design and previously owned by actor Adam West, best known for his role as Batman. This 1954 property in the cherished Old Las Palmas neighborhood features customized elevated details and revitalized modernist aesthetics with an innovative twist, all while paying tribute to Albert Frey’s signature architectural elements and honoring the iconic legacy of Batman. Modernism Week sponsors Ferguson, Monogram, Cafe, Profile, Brizo, Kichler, and other Modernism Week sponsors generously contributed to this stunning and soulful renovation.

Ferguson at CAMP

CAMP (Community And Meeting Place), the festival’s headquarters for tours and events, will return to the spacious lobby of the Downtown Hyatt located at 285 North Palm Canyon Drive.  Mod-inspired curated products will be on display from Monogram (the Statement Collection), Cafe (the Customizable Professional Collection), and Profile (the Combo Laundry).  Brizo will showcase several bath and kitchen faucet collections including the new Kintsu Kitchen Collection, an assortment of gorgeous cabinet hardware from Baldwin, exquisite examples of Myrrin, Emmeline, and Lucian vanities from James Martin Vanities, and a stunning Phix Chandelier from Kichler. Ferguson will provide the free “Trends and Influences Vol. 10” booklet to customers to take home and will offer a luxurious seating and lounge area and a Step and Repeat for photo opportunities.

It is an honor to sponsor Modernism Week again this year and celebrate the festival’s twentieth anniversary. Along with our brand partners, we’ve curated an incredible selection of kitchen and bath products, lighting and appliances that can be experienced in the featured homes and at the CAMP space. We look forward to connecting with architecture and design enthusiasts at this iconic event and celebrating all things midcentury.
