Tickets are no longer available online for today’s events but they are available at CAMP or at the door for certain events.  Remember, cash is preferred. Here’s what you need to know about Hump Day at Modernism Week.


Don’t miss the daily demonstrations in the Ferguson Demonstration Kitchen at CAMP and stick around for Wind-Down Wednesday Happy Hour from 5pm to 7pm.  Catch the witty and informative Modernism With a Twist “Culture” presentation at CAMP starting at 5pm. Tickets on sale at the door at the CAMP Theater ($45).


Chino Canyon Project is open daily for tours between 9:30am and 4:30pm, tickets available at the door.  Also, be sure to check out the Signature Home Tour Lance O’Donnell, AIA/Architect Desert Modern Architecture, tickets available at the door.  Cash preferred.

Lectures and Presentations

If you’re as much a fans of desert landscape as the desert modern architecture, then don’t miss this lecture with Mountain States Wholesale Nursery on Pioneers of Desert Flora ($10).  The Dan Chavkin lecture at the A&D Center on “Midcentury Parking Lots” at 10 a.m. will be free. Get over to the Palm Springs Library to check out the FAST FORWARD Architecture of William F. Cody exhibition on loan from the Architecture + Design Museum in Los Angeles.  Open daily ($10).
