Modernism Week’s annual idea space has three names this year. Whether you call it the Social House, a Featured Home, or the Hidden Frey, this is what you need to know and how to see it.
The Modernism Week Social House is an annual idea space where midcentury meets new century, and where design is sympathetic to preservation while still pushing progressive. This year, the Hidden Frey embodies these tenets. Plucked from obscurity and restored to its former stateliness with modern panache by Thomboy Properties, this immaculately designed domicile is not to missed. This is how you can see it.
Hang out with Hunker at the Hidden Frey on Saturday
Be among the first to see the Hidden Frey before the home is opened to the public for tours. Explore and preview this Frey-designed residence and stick around for a court-side conversation with Hunker on new century modernism and the rise of always-on design. Featured panelists include Angie Myung (Co-Founder and Creative Director of Poketo), Beatrice Fischer-Block (CEO and Co-Founder of Hutch), and Gareth Payne (Head of Interior Design at Design Research Studio ). This lively discussion will be moderated by Hunker’s VP of Content, Eve Epstein. Tickets available here.
