Lisa Perry Makes Mod Modern

Vintage collector-turned-designer Lisa Perry brings midcentury inspiration to life.

Lisa Perry, fashion’s reigning queen of mod-gone-modern, draws every day inspiration from her surroundings. Starting out with an acute knowledge – and beautifully curated collection – of vintage fashion and textiles, it was in 2007 that friends and colleagues encouraged her to launch her own brand.

“Where people may have said to us at the beginning that it’s very vintage-inspired, we would rather people know that we are very true to the beautiful shapes and styles of the 1960s, but we’re very modern,” Perry told the East Hampton Star. “It’s a very modern outlook and a modern look.”

The clean lines and bright pops of color characteristic of 60’s style is translated from classic to contemporary in Perry’s line.

On February 20th, we are thrilled to welcome Lisa Perry to CAMP, in conversation with photographer Shari Applebaum. Perry will present a retrospective, vignettes outlining the evolution of her brand, from the vintage pieces that inspired her first collection to her iconic artist collaborations.
